1. What is the shipping cost for my order?
Ans. Free shipping for all domestic shipping within India. International shipping starts from Rs.1250. For international orders, usually our customers save in shipping cost by ordering multiple items in single order.
2. How do I pay for online order?
Ans. We accept Credit card, Debit card, Online net banking, UPI and Paytm using secured payment gateway.
3. Could I place an order for Cash on Delivery?
Ans. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept Cash on Delivery. Please use other supported form of payments such as Credit/Debit/Net Banking for ordering on our website.
4. How secure is using Credit/Debit/Net banking for the payment? Does your website store payment information?
Ans. All our online payments are processed securely through payment gateway and customer will be redirected to payment gateway to enter the payment information after you review the order on Kumaran Silk website. Please note that we do not collect or store or have access to the payment information (such as credit/debit card/bank account information) entered by the customer on the payment gateway. All payments are handle by the payment gateway per the PCI compliance standards.
5. What is the cancellation process for the order ?
Ans. Customers may cancel the order through email before the items are shipped. The cancellation is accepted only when communication is received before shipping and acknowledged by our store through email. Please send your order cancellation to kumaransilk.mdu@gmail.com
6. What is the return policy for the item purchased online?
Ans. We provide 7 day return policy. Please refer to the Return policy link under policies section at the bottom of the page for the terms and condition of the returns.
7. How long does it take for the order to be delivered?
Ans. We will process all online orders within 2 working days of placing the order online. Items will be sent through reputed courier and usually delivered within 3-10 working days (domestic order) and 4-15 working days (International order)**. 8. Who pays for import taxes, customs and other taxes for International orders?
Ans. International shipment may be subjected to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. These tax amounts are not included in the payment that made during online purchase. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer and we have no control over these charges, nor do we predict what they may be. 9. What is process for returning defective item?
Ans. We are committed to provide quality merchandise to our customers. If you received the item that contains manufacturing defect, please follow the process mentioned in the Return policy section
10. I see transaction failed message when making payment on the secured payment gateway page. What should I do?
Ans. Please try submitting the order again and retry with different payment option (credit/debit/online) banking payment options. If the error still occurs, you may have to contact your bank on the failure.
11. The transaction failed, but I still charges debited from my card/bank?
Ans. The payments could be temporary hold and usually gets cancelled within 3-5 working days. If you still see the charges not credited, please contact your bank directly.
12. Does the item price listed on website includes GST?
Ans. Yes, all the items prices listed on website includes GST(State & Central) Tax amount.
13. Can I use international credit cards for the payment?
Ans. Yes, International credit cards can be used for the payment.
14. Do you offer EMI option for the purchase?
Ans. Yes, our payment gateway CCAvenue offers customers to pay using EMI option. Just select EMI option on the payment page when redirected to CCAvenue. Please check with the bank on the terms and condition as these EMI payment option is offered by the bank.
15. Why was my online order cancelled ?
Ans. We intend to have all items in stock. However, we may not be able to fulfill your order due to unexpected demand or other circumstances beyond our control. If the purchased item is out of stock, we shall cancel the order and notify you through email within 2 working days of placing the order and
16. Why did I receive store credit for a cancellation or return on my PayPal transaction?
Due to regulations set by PayPal India, we are unable to hold a balance in our PayPal account or add funds to it manually. This means we cannot issue direct refunds for international PayPal transactions.
As a result, if your order was canceled or returned, we issued your refund as store credit, which can be used for any future purchases on our platform.
